Reservations can only be confirmed if the following is on file:
-
Proof of current vaccinations
-
Completed Pet Registration Form
-
Acknowledgement of our Stay & Services Agreement
-
Payment for stay has been received
Reservations can be cancelled by Aiga Maile if the above items are not provided, or if the care required for your pet is outside of Aiga Maile's scope of services.
RATES
Our standard rate is $75/day for one dog, $110/day for two dogs and $140 for three dogs. Rates are subject to change and are competitive with kennels in our region. For this reason, we believe our rates are very fair as a kennel does not provide the individual care and home environment as we do. In addition, we board only one family at a time.
During holidays and peak periods, a $10 per dog/night fee will be applied. This is our holiday rate and will be applied to reservations that fall on the following dates:
-
November 24 - December 1, 2024
-
December 22, 2024 - January 5, 2025
-
January 17 - 21, 2025
-
February 14 - 18, 2025
-
April 13 - 27, 2025
-
May 23 - 27, 2025
-
July 1 - 6, 2025
-
August 29 - September 2, 2025
Holidays with a minimum three (3) night stay include:
-
US Independence Holiday (July 4, 2025)
-
US Thanksgiving Holiday (November 28. 2024)
-
Christmas Holiday (December 25, 2024)
-
New Year's Holiday (January 1, 2025)
Rates for a full night are incurred on a 24-hour basis from the time of check-in. After 24 hours, the extended care charge is incurred after 2 hours and is a half-day charge (ie. the daily boarding rate divided by two).
SPECIALIZED CARE
Guests placed into the Specialized Care Program may incur fees of $20 additional per day. A guest may be enrolled in the Specialized Care Program during their stay, at the discretion of Aiga Maile, if needed for the guest's safety, or the safety of other guests or people in the home. Aiga Maile's specialized care program encompasses two (2) categories:
-
Behavioral: Guests that are human aggressive and display behavior that is not conducive to the safety of Aiga Maile. Guests who are destructive to furniture and/or require constant supervision if not crated.
-
Medical: Guests who have medication or feeding needs beyond Aiga Maile's defined schedules. Guests with stitches, or who are blind, deaf, or lack mobility.
Additional Information
BEDDING
Aiga Maile provides an XL and L crate. Unlike many kennels and boarding facilities in the area, we understand that your fur babies comfort and happiness is most important, so we ask you to please bring their bedding and/or what they need to smell home and feel comfortable.
We do allow pets on the human and pet furniture and provide bedding as needed.
BELONGINGS, FOOD, TREATS, & MEDICINE
We have a large amount of toys, puzzles and bones. Please let us know if you would like us to restrict the type of toys or bones with which your dog plays. Please feel free to bring your pet’s favorite toys or treats. We do our best to ensure your fur baby returns home with their toys.
Food should be put into zip lock bags or containers. Please ensure to bring enough food for their entire stay. Portioning out the food in advance helps to ensure there is enough food for their entire stay. We will send home any extra food or treats. If additional food needs to be purchased while you're away, a $20 fee will apply in addition to reimbursement for the full cost of the food.
Medications can be administered by us but are limited to topical, ophthalmic, and oral medications. By leaving your pet's medication with us, you release Aiga Maile authorization to administer the medication as prescribed or indicated on the label. Medication should be brought in their original pill bottle with the name of medication listed, as well as prescribed dosage.
